Condolence: Our Mother, Our Friend

You had a smile of sunshine, a heart of gold
Eyes as bright as stars, that never grew old
In the air we breathe, we know you’re there
To guide and protect all those for whom you cared
When we’d cry, you’d wipe away our tears
You held our hands all through the years
You’d hug and pray away all our fears
Yours is the voice we desperately seek to hear
You showed us all the beauty you possessed
You taught us to Fish, to camp, and held us tight to your chest
If you could come back, if only for one day
We’d make sure to listen to all that you had to say
Because remembering you is easy
Heck, we do that everyday
But there’s an ache in our hearts
That will never really go away
So we remember you now in love,
We celebrate your life from start to end
And we’re just glad we get to say,
We knew you as our MOTHER and our FRIEND!!
